Title: Day One Hundred and Twenty-Seven: Saturday Description: The week is done. October keeps going. Category: general Date: 2026-10-03 23:00:45 Tags: diary, october, saturday, weekend
Saturday. No particular urgency to the day, which is its own kind of luxury. I did some CCNA review in the morning — went back over routing protocols, the stuff I've been moving through quickly because it feels familiar on the surface but has teeth if you don't actually nail down the details. Took it slower than I usually would. That was the right call.
The afternoon was just life. Hadley, the house, some time with Vanessa. Nashville in October is doing what Nashville does — not quite cold, not quite warm, a little humid still, but with these brief windows in the evening where the air actually feels like fall. I keep waiting for that to stop being pleasant and it hasn't yet.
One hundred and twenty-seven. The streak is just a streak now — I don't think about it much during the day, just at night when I sit down to write. Which is probably the right relationship to have with a thing like this.
