October. I've been waiting for this one — not in a dramatic way, just in the way you wait for a season to actually feel like itself. September was transitional. October is the real thing: the leaves doing whatever leaves do, the air with some actual weight to it, the sky a color that doesn't exist any other time of year. I'm in Nashville so it's not exactly Vermont, but it's something.
One hundred and twenty-five entries. Five months tomorrow. The CCNA studying is the work right now and it's going — steadily, without drama. I don't have a lot else to report, which is fine. Consistent days stack up whether or not they're interesting to read about. That's been the lesson of keeping this going.
