Title: Day One Hundred and Thirty-Three: Friday Description: End of the week. The security material followed through. Category: general Date: 2026-10-09 23:00:50 Tags: diary, october, friday, ccna
Friday. I said yesterday the follow-through would come today, and it did — went back through the security fundamentals and most of it held. The 802.1X port-based authentication stuff is the kind of thing that's easier to understand once you've watched it fail in the field, which I have, so that section landed well. That's a pattern I keep noticing: experience doesn't replace study, but it gives the study something to attach to.
Work wrapped up clean. Nothing catastrophic this week, which after long enough in support work starts to feel like its own accomplishment. Five days of problems that were actually solvable. I'll take it.
Friday night in October. Vanessa's good, Hadley's good, the weekend is ahead. One hundred and thirty-three days. Still here.
