Wednesday. Midweek. The WAN material from yesterday is still settling — I went back over some of the SD-WAN concepts this morning which is one of those things that sounds very modern and important and is, but also has a lot of marketing language baked into the documentation that you have to mentally strip out to get to what it's actually doing. Once you do that it's just overlay networking. Fine. Moving on.
Work was a decent day. Got a couple of installations sorted out remotely that I thought were going to be more complicated. The ones you expect to be hard sometimes aren't, and the ones you expect to be routine sometimes take two hours. You learn to calibrate.
The week is sliding toward the weekend in that Wednesday way. Hadley's good. October's doing its thing. Not much else to report, which, as I keep saying, is its own kind of good news.
