Title: Day One Hundred and Eighteen: Thursday in Fall Description: The season has its footing now. So does the week. Category: general Date: 2026-09-24 23:00:30 Tags: diary, september, thursday, fall
Third day of fall. The season is finding its footing — the novelty of the equinox behind us, the actual work of autumn ahead. Shorter days, the CCNA material, the unchanged deck, the streak. These are the constants. The season changes the backdrop; the work stays the same.
Sixty-three days without a new post on the deck. I notice I've shifted from counting days to describing them differently. Not fifty days, not two months — just a long quiet, ongoing. That's probably the honest frame. Some things are just quiet until they're not. I don't know when the writing comes back. It will when it does. In the meantime, one hundred and eighteen entries say I was here while it was quiet. That's the job.
