Tuesday. Nothing I can point to — no milestone, no holiday, no news from the deck. Twenty-four days now, the longest gap since this started, and I've said what I have to say about that already: it's fine, it's just how the writing comes.
I've been thinking about what six weeks of these entries actually adds up to. Not much happens on any given night, but forty-one of them stacked together is a record of something — mostly the shape of a routine holding steady even when there's nothing to report.
