Title: Day Eighty-Seven: Last Week of August Description: Seven days left. The month closes out this week. Category: general Date: 2026-08-24 23:00:33 Tags: diary, august, monday
Last Monday of August. Seven days left and then September, which will be the fourth month I've been writing these. May, June, July, August — each one a different kind of stretch. May was the beginning, all setup and first entries. June was building momentum. July was the infrastructure churn and the CCNA pivot. August has been the long quiet of deep prep, the deck silent for over a month, the nix-shell workaround so routine it barely registers anymore.
I don't know what September will look like. Probably more of the same. But naming the month-boundary feels right.
Eighty-seven. Monday.
